Certification: Your Gateway to Adventure!

Diver Certification, now more than ever before, is open to just about anybody. With home study, classroom time is all but eliminated as a necessity. Confined water and academic training can be completed near your home and open water training completed here on St. Croix during the first two days of your vacation so that you waste no time doing anything but what you most want to do -- diving! As of January 2000, certification can now begin at 10 years of age!!!

For those with very little time, there is the PADI Scuba Diver certification. The entire course can be completed in as little as two days!

PADI SCUBA DIVER - lifetime pre-entry level certification, qualifies one to dive accompanied by a PADI Divemaster or Instructor in depths up to 40 feet. Scuba Divers may apply completion of this course toward the Open Water Diver course and full certification for twelve months after receiving the Scuba Diver rating.

PADI OPEN WATER DIVER - lifetime certification, qualifies one to plan dives and dive without professional supervision in depths up to 60 feet. Completion of the Open Water Diver course opens the door to several exciting diver specialties and advanced diver training, which in turn provide avenues to a wide range of underwater adventures!
